Prohibition of Separation by Gender during Child Nutrition Program Meal Service (5/12)
This recent policy memo from USDA came out re-enforcing the prohibition of separating students by gender in the lunch process. USDA has been inundated with concerns from across the country as to how an exception for religious purposes will work. USDA is currently developing a hopefully simple process, but it will take a couple of weeks to finalize. Please wait for further guidance before contacting them.
