Pandemic Flu Preparedness- New York State is participating in a variety of initiatives in preparation for a worldwide flu epidemic (referred to as a "pandemic"). The following information has been disseminated to New York State schools.

Pandemic Flu Action Kit for Schools: The New York State Disaster Preparedness Commission is continuing its comprehensive planning for a potential pandemic. Staff from the State Health and Education Departments and a workgroup made up of county health officials collaborated in the development of a Pandemic Flu Action Kit for Schools in New York State.
