Eligibility criteria will change effective January 1, 2009. Applications received in our office by December 31, 2008 will be reviewed using the current criteria. At this time New York State has two submissions for gold with USDA's Boston office and we just received two more this week to process. There are many other schools in New York that can and should be recognized for their nutrition standards. While the process can be burdensome, the results for your community are worth it!
