Subject: Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP)

         

     The Nutrition Consortium of New York State, Inc. is a hunger advocacy organization that encourages New York State residents to access available federal food assistance programs.  They subcontract with community-based agencies to conduct outreach at the local level to promote various nutrition programs.  The counties listed above have NOEP staff promoting the School Breakfast Program, the Summer Food Service Program or both programs.

     Consider them another resource to help you begin or increase participation in these programs.

     Our office is available to assist you with regulatory issues and technical assistance needed to administer cost effective programs.  The NOEP can assist you locally to promote your programs.
