The School Meals Initiative (SMI) guidance manual, Road to SMI Success-A Guide for School Foodservice Directors, is available on the team nutrition website, http://www.teamnutrition.usda.gov/Resources/roadtosuccess.html, and the Child Nutrition Division website, http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/Guidance.
You can download this manual for duplication purposes. USDA will distribute print copies to state agencies and school food authorities, along with Nutrient Analysis Protocols-How to Analyze Menus for USDA's School Meals Programs, when the printed material becomes available.-
